New Staff in Student Services

It is with excitement, gratitude and a bit of sadness that I announce the resignation of Kris and Emily Bargen. Some awesome opportunities are opening for Kris in Video Producing and Editing and through much prayer and council, they have decided to take this step in faith.

Ryan Bushnell will be stepping in as our Men's Resident Supervisor and Director of Student Life. He and his wife, Cristi (and son, Cohen), come from Huntington University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Ministries and they served in a Resident Life Ministry for four years. He has worked with Youth for Christ in both Lansing and Fort Wayne for six years, founded and presided the "Huntington University Treblemakers" (12 man a-Capella ensemble), and is a certified Conflict Mediator.

Kayla Zittel will be our Women's Resident Supervisor. She graduated from Great Lakes Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication and Biblical Theology (with a Minor in Musical Worship). As a student, she served as a Resident Assistant for three years, traveled on GLCC Outreach Teams for three summers, and was actively involved in campus life (Madrigals, volleyball, chapel band, etc.). She married Matt Zittel in May of 2011 and previously worked as the Administrative Assistant in Serving Ministries at Trinity Church.
