The Great Lakes Christian College Board of Trustees voted on Friday, January 28, 2022, to call Dr. Frank Weller to be the tenth president of GLCC.
Dr. Weller is a 1989 graduate of Great Lakes Christian College. He earned a Master of Arts degree from Huntington University and completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Bethel Seminary.
Frank is currently the senior minister at the South Lansing Christian Church in Lansing, MI and will complete over 14 years in that ministry and begin as President of Great Lakes Christian College on June 1, 2022.
Previously Dr. Weller has served churches in Kokomo, Crawfordsville, and Butler, Indiana. He has also served as adjunct professor at GLCC in the areas of Homiletics and Church Leadership along with serving as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Frank and his wife Tracy are parents to three adult children. Abigail lives in Australia with her husband, Andrew and works with refugees and asylum seekers. Caleb is part owner of a Detroit area flooring distributor. Jonah, and his wife Marissa, are musicians based in the Detroit area.
