Christian College Admissions: What do you need?

What is required for Christian College Admissions?

The Christian College Admissions process is not very different from that of other universities and colleges. Starting college (or returning) is an incredibly exciting time. You can be confident that you are investing in your future in order to create the life you imagine for yourself.

At a Christian college you can honor God during college and throughout your life. You will strengthen your faith and learn in a supportive environment. Your morals and belief will also be supported, not challenged.

The Application Process

The application process typically starts with an Online Application. If you still aren't sure which colleges to apply to, you can schedule a visit and talk with an admissions counselor. Most Christian colleges have an Office of Admissions or Admissions Department. You can also talk to current students and ask questions about what it is really like to attend the school.

You will also need to submit an application fee. This pays for the processing and evaluation of your application. If you are under 25 years old you will have to submit your ACT and SAT scores.

Typically, colleges and universities also require an essay or written letter as to why you want to attend and references.

We also offer Online Courses

The admissions process for our online courses is separate from applying to attend on campus. However, it also starts with an online application.

If you are interested in attending GLCC either on campus or online, please give us a call at 800-YES-GLCC. One of our Admissions Counselors will be happy to talk to you about all of your options.
